As a child, I found refuge in the small forest near home — a place where expectations dissolved and I could simply be. That quiet companionship with nature became a lifelong teacher. The trees never asked me to mask or explain; they simply existed, reminding me that I, too, could belong without performing. Over time, I’ve learned from the rhythm of the seasons how to rest, to pause, to grow. Watching plants unfold has shown me that nurturing something outside of myself also heals something within.
Plants & Trees

Nature mirrors the delicate balance of life — how every small being holds purpose, and how stillness can transform into profound connection. There is something so magical about watching a small seed slowly grow, becoming leaves and into a big plant that after having been nurtured help to nurture us.
The Body knows best

Understanding my body has been both a reclamation and a rebellion. After years of bullying and disconnection, there were times I couldn’t even recognise the person in the mirror. The journey back into embodiment has been slow — sometimes painful, often humbling. Learning that detachment from the body isn’t just personal but deeply systemic opened my eyes to how power and oppression can live beneath the skin. Movement became my medicine.
Through dance, breath, and motion, I’ve discovered that no feeling is permanent. My body now speaks to me clearly — it collapses when ignored, softens when honoured. Sensitivity, once a burden, has become a form of resilience — a way of knowing, feeling, and surviving.
Food grounds me in the simplest and most profound ways. When life feels too heavy, cooking becomes my way back — a tangible act of care when words fall short. Preparing a meal reminds me that nourishment isn’t only about survival but also about tenderness. There’s something healing in chopping vegetables, stirring a pot, tasting warmth. Even when anxiety dulls my appetite, the act of feeding myself feels like a quiet declaration: I deserve to be cared for. Food keeps teaching me that healing is often found in the ordinary moments — in small rituals that bring us back to ourselves.
Food & Rest

Food keeps teaching me that healing is often found in the ordinary moments — in small rituals that bring us back to ourselves.
In feeding myself and others I keep learning how to stay alive with gentleness.
I wanted to dedicate place on this site to the people I am in community with. Healing doesn’t happen alone — no matter how often the world insists it should. The idea that we must love ourselves first before being loved by others feels incomplete to me. We learn love through each other — through being held in our messiness, our fears, our softness. Community has taught me that being witnessed can be the most transformative form of care.
Community, Friends & Family

I’ve been shaped by those who mirror me, challenge me, and stay when things grow uncomfortable. Their kindness and accountability have shown me that real connection isn’t about perfection. Healing, I’ve learned, is a shared language spoken through trust and courage.Finding a community is crucial. We dont heal in isolation.
